In 2001, in the midst of a national economic downturn, Mr. Hernandez teamed with other professionals from the energy, telecommunications and financial services sectors to create Liberty Power.

Prior to forming Liberty Power, Mr. Hernandez, an entrepreneur, founded a successful IT staffing company as well as a residential contracting company.

He is a member of EO (formerly Young Entrepreneurs Organization), and a board member of both the Patrician Condo Association and the Liberty Power Foundation.

Mr. Hernandez graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Florida, with a Bachelors of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. He currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida, with his wife Shefali, and daughter Risa.
