Liberty Power is proud to provide energy solutions and savings that fuel the growth of business and the economy. We are currently seeking a Director of Corporate Communications.

SUMMARY:   

Primary External Communications responsibilities will include: 
* Design implement and measure an external communications plan to align with corporate business objectives
* Design and implement a media relations plan, including develop contacts, respond to reporter requests, record and maintain a database of reporter contacts, editorial board visits and other functions
* Build and leverage relationships with external targeted groups (i.e. trade organizations, civic organizations)
* Create and maintain a press kit that contains all interviews, external company news, press releases and all media coverage of the corporation and any executives along with the bios of the principals
* Create and maintain a corporate contact  database
* Manage relationship with agency of record for the company

Primary Internal Communications responsibilities will include:
* Effectively provide communications that align with the corporate business objectives
* Provide communications for the company wide meeting and the offsite management meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:   
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.  7+ years of Public or Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
* Effective written and oral communication skills;
* Solid media relations experience and demonstrated news coverage placements;
* Ability to understand, interpret, and write about complex, scientific information
* Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline;
* Attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread;
* Excellent time management and organizational skills;
* Computer proficiency in Windows environment

Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States independent of company sponsorship.
