Liberty Power is proud to provide energy solutions and savings that fuel the growth of business and the economy. We are currently seeking a Pricing Director to be based in either our Fort Lauderdale, FL or Houston, TX offices.
The Pricing Director will be responsible for the following duties:
* Lead overall development of pricing strategy and manage continuous improvement in pricing tools and processes.
* Drive product pricing analysis and recommendations, including analyzing competitive pricing, reviewing price recommendations, and leading price review discussions.
* Provide modeling of pricing decisions and future impacts of pricing on our business revenues and customer markets.
* Work closely with the Business Development team on establishing pricing models for new distribution channels.
* Work closely with, sales, and marketing on strategic pricing initiatives.
* Project and monitor revenue recognition. Recommend policies and new tools for deferred revenue.
* Develop and institute strategic processes for the development of pricing recommendations and approval.
* Develop and secure/maintain resources (databases, expertise, analytic techniques, etc.) that support high quality pricing analyses.
* Develop and execute processes to assure pricing is consistent and update pricing on routine basis; assures appropriate review of all proposed price changes and new launch prices.
* Evaluate the changing marketplace and make recommendations on pricing strategies.
* Analyze and evaluate specific contracts with the objective of determining its overall impact on the business.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in economics or finance (MBA preferred). Candidate must have 6 to 8 years experience in pricing analysis, recommendations and development of pricing strategies within energy industry. At least 5 years demonstrated success in Marketing with pricing responsibility or finance positions with increasing level of responsibility. Experience in a multiple products, multiple customer environments where the pace of change is accelerating and the need for rapid assessment and action is imperative.
