SUMMARY:
The Sales Support Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the SMB sales team with boarding new sales channels and managing the customized pricing process utilizing Salesforce.com and Liberty’s Partner Portal. The role also requires the Sales Support Specialist to act as backup to the sales managers while they’re in the office and visiting channels in person.

The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:

• Get contracts, marketing materials, and other materials prepared and shipped to sales channels
• Get new sales channel boarding process managed
  a. Get Vendor Application & W-9 Forms completed and turned into Finance Team
  b. Get sales roster with agent names
  c. Get Code of Conduct from channels and agents
  d. Get channels set-up in Partner Portal
  e. Get product and Partner Portal training sessions scheduled w/ trainers
  f. Get Monitoring Instruction (If Telesales)
  g. Get channels set-up in Sales Force
  h. Get background check completed on channels
  i. Send collateral materials to channels
• Get the custom contract process managed
  a. Get Price Request received from sales channels
  b. Get Price Request entered into Sales Force
  c. Get credit check run for new prospects
  d. Get prices refreshed upon request from channels
  e. Get custom contracts created
  f. Send notification of closed custom contracts to cross functional team
     i. Enrollment ii. Pricing
     iii. Sales Team
• Get Incentive Cards and gifts prepared and mailed to channels, as approved
• Get ABC agreements created for prospective sales channels
• Get sales rosters from channels updated on a monthly basis
• Get credit approved by finance for exception scenarios
• Get revised processes & improvements to Partner Portal and other sales tools implemented
• Get competitor activities and products captured by the SMB team distributed to LP team
• Get Sales Managers supported while they’re traveling and visiting with channels
• Get Sales Managers and channels support utilizing cross functional teams

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* A.A. Degree in Business or related field and/or a minimum of five years experience in a business/sales environment
* Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Excel
* Proficient using Salesforce.com or other sales database
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including superior listening skills
* Well developed presentation skills
* Ability to develop standard sales reports and ad hoc reports
* Must be detail-oriented and have excellent customer service, organizational, and follow-up skills.
* Trade show experience preferred; must have the ability to travel occasionally on an as-needed basis.
* Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
