Liberty Power Celebrates 10 Years in Business by Rewarding Customers, Channel Partners, and Sales Agents
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Liberty Power,
one of the nation's fastest growing and largest independent energy retailers,
announces the company is celebrating 10 years in business. Since its
founding in December 2001, Liberty Power has realized steady and significant
organic growth and an expanding national presence thanks to its strong network
of sales channel partners, their sales agents and loyal customers. Now
serving more than 100,000 commercial accounts across 13 states, the company
wanted to show its appreciation to its customers and sales channels through its
10th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Grand Drawing.
"This is an important milestone in Liberty Power's history, and our success is
directly tied to our loyal customers, as well as the relentless focus of our
sales channels and employees on delivering value to those customers," said David
Hernandez, co-founder & CEO. "We've seen many other retail energy providers come
and go over the last decade. The last 10 years have presented some
challenges, including natural disasters, an economic downturn, and credit
crisis, so we are especially proud and delighted to celebrate our 10th
anniversary with the people and companies who helped us grow from our humble
beginnings to one of the largest independent retail electric suppliers in the
United States today."
Ten lucky customers were randomly selected to win $10,000 each. The
customer winners represent a diverse group: a fire house in Pennsylvania, an
Italian restaurant in New Jersey, a childhood learning center in Delaware, a
chicken farmer in Maryland and a homeowner in Texas, among others. Sales
channels responsible for enrolling these customers and the signing agents also
received awards.
The majority of the winners were small businesses, which is not surprising since
Liberty Power was founded with the vision of providing small commercial
customers with the same level of customer service and energy cost-savings that
were typically only provided to large energy-users. Today, the company
serves all customer segments, including many Fortune 500 companies, government
entities, and residential accounts across its national footprint.
"Few, if any, retail electric providers can claim they've remained in business
and independent for 10 years. It's been an amazing journey, watching the
company grow in so many ways," said Alberto Daire, co-founder, President and
COO. "Liberty Power started selling in one utility territory in New York
City, but today operates in more than fifty. Four original co-founders
have grown to become nearly 300 team members, and the number of channel partners
and customers we serve has grown tremendously. Moving forward, we are very
excited about what we can accomplish over the next 10 years. Whatever the
future holds, we will always remember our small business roots, and will always
keep our entrepreneurial spirit."
