About Texas

Liberty Power was created in 2001 and began selling low priced electricity in Texas in 2003. We have continuously served Texas commercial customers ever since.

At this time we currently serve small and mid-size businesses, large national accounts and government and institutional customers in the Oncor, Centerpoint and CP&L service territories.

We also serve national account and government and institutional customers in the WTU service territory.

The Texas Public Utility Commission submitted a report to the state House last year concluding that customers who take advantage of what retail electric competition offers have realized substantial savings and indeed, Texas is the most active and competitive market in the U.S. as measured by number of competitors, persistent migration levels and total load migrated.
