Walking is a fun and easy way to exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Everybodwalk.org is a campaign to raise awareness of doing just that, getting up and moving! The campaign’s physician spokesperson, Bob Sallis, MD, recommends adults exercise weekly for 150 minutes. That may sound like a lot, but it’s only two and a half hours. That’s less time than it takes to watch some of the new summer blockbusters. It translates to just a 30-minute walk a few times a week.
