About Liberty Power Bright Horizons Scholarship
Liberty Power, the leading Hispanic-owned energy provider in the U.S., and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation have once again partnered to proudly present the 5th Annual Liberty Power Bright Horizons Scholarship.
Established in 2013, the Liberty Power Bright Horizons Scholarship is an ongoing collaborative effort between Liberty Power and the USHCC Foundation to provide scholarship opportunities over the course of five years to eligible college students pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education particularly with an interest in the energy or environmental field.
The Bright Horizons Scholarship has already awarded 13 students a total of $80,000 toward powering their dreams (check out our previous scholarship winners below). This year, the scholarship program will award a total of $20,000 in the form of three scholarships valued at $10,000, $6,000, and $4,000. The winners of the 2017 Bright Horizons Scholarship will be announced at the USHCC National Convention on October 1-3 in Dallas, Texas (must be present to win).
The application period for 2017 is now CLOSED. The deadline for qualified applicants was Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 11:59 P.M. EST.
