Company’s Chief Executive Officer to Share Insights on Entrepreneurship to Cuban–American Students
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – April 18, 2007 –Liberty Power, the fastest growing, independent energy retailer focused on business consumers, and the only national, minority–owned energy–provider in the country, today announced its sponsorship of the Roots of Hope´s Evolution Campus Tour when it stops at New York University on April 18. The campus tour will promote the Evolution Project, the organization´s awareness campaign to generate mass–appeal and international solidarity for the Cuban youth by promoting humanity´s inherent need for freedom of expression. The New York University stop, sponsored by Liberty Power, will address issues surrounding Freedom of the Press and Artistic Freedom.
David Hernandez, CEO of Liberty Power and a Cuban–American will deliver the welcoming remarks and share with the students his passion for education, entrepreneurship, and the value of freedom in the U.S. which has enabled him to pursue his vision for Liberty Power. Through the Liberty Power Foundation, Hernandez has been an active supporter of educational initiatives within the Hispanic community. The Foundation supports educational programs for disadvantaged youths in the states that Liberty Power serves.
